The rider in any horsing sport matters to some degree. Part of it is skill certainly. But a big part of it is actually size, not just weight, but the small stature in general, especially in jockeying. After all, if a small person is on the same horse, it will run the same path in a shorter amount of time than if a heavier person were on the same horse for the same course. That would be my theory anyway. But most of it is skill, because even if you’re tiny, if you don’t know what you’re doing, what good is that going to do anyone?

What happens to a site when it shuts down? I mean when there are no things saying sorry we're down for routine maintenance, no this is parked by godaddy, nothing but your search site saying we can't find this site. I mean you know they're there, because you've been there before. But suddenly they're gone. That happened with Xanga today, and I am wondering what the crap is going on. I mean sites as big as Xanga just don't suddenly disappear like that. So where did it go and when is it coming back?
29 April 09 - 17:16Ear Acne
I hate awkward zits. I hate awkward zits! They hurt, and they’re just awkward. The worst ones are the ones in your nose. But there’s currently one in that little top fold of my ear! I had no idea how painful that could be, because I’ve never had one there. And though I have a tea tree oil treatment that works everywhere else, I’ve heard that if you put it in your ears, you could go deaf. So I’m definitely not taking that risk, especially with how much I actually like sound like hearing good music for example. But I am wondering if
acne pills are the way to go. I mean it’s annoying when I can’t reach my back acne, because it is just out of that normal range. But this is something else entirely. I can definitely reach it. But I can’t see it, I can’t really deal with it well. I’ve tried using the little queu tips to get stuff in there like rubbing alcohol, just right there, and I can usually dry out zits using that stuff. ...

04 March 09 - 08:22Skinny Jeans On Men
I've seen some men lately who are really getting into the skinny jeans. It doesn't look good on women in general! Why in the world would it look good on men! And frankly, I think it would be hard to wear, especially with how tight some of them wear it. Girls are not that sensitive to tighter pants, but I would think men would be. Anyway, it's like cowboys. They don't even look attractive in those pants, even with the whole cowboy mentality. I've heard some guys say what you want our pants to be hanging off our butts. No I don't want that, and it's actually worse when they combine skinny ankle pants with hanging off their butt. But there is a happy medium you know that any guy can combine with different styles.

Hamlet:
To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them. To die—to sleep,
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep, perchance to dream—ay, there's the rub:
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause—there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
Th'oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of dispriz'd love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of th'unworthy takes,
When he himself ...

Jaques:
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.
this is a common cliche now. But would it have been created had shakespeare not written it? We assume so, but you never really know
07 February 09 - 08:32Taking Responsibility
Occasionally, I get into super nanny, even though realistically she doesn’t do that many things, but somehow makes a pretty significant difference. The other night, she was working with a family that had 10 kids, 10 freaking kids! And the mom was going for 12, even though she couldn’t actually handle the 10 she already had. How does that make sense? Dad was a truck driver, so he was gone for 3 4 days at a time. The older kids helped out a lot, which is great. I mean it’s great when the family can work as a family. But at the same point in time, obviously, they were having issues being on super nanny and all. The kids weren’t finding the
most effective diet pill underage, they weren’t smoking, they weren’t drinking, they weren’t doing other drugs, they weren’t really getting in trouble at school, so some would say not so bad. But at the same point, the oldest kid, who was 15, was thinking about running away from home, because he couldn’t handle it. I mean it ...

29 January 09 - 18:23First Crush
I remember my first crush, well my first teenage crush. I think everybody has their little preschool boyfriend or girlfriend that it’s just cute. My friend’s kid actually told me the other day that she was going to marry hers, as did her little friend, which was too cute. But my first teenage crush happened, when I had this huge acne breakout, and so I went nuts searching for good
acne treatments, because of course he couldn’t see me with this! He was actually one of my best friends, which is a surprisingly good start for a kid of that age. So we spent every waking minute together and may as well have had our little junior high relationship. As I later found out, he had the same freak out, searching for
acne treatments, wondering if I liked him, trying to play it cool just incase I didn’t, writing stuff on his notebook(well actually that was just me), all that interesting stuff that teenagers do. ...
